I acknowledge the GunaiKurnai people as the Traditional Owners of the land where I live, work and create. I recognise their enduring connection to Country - to land, waters, sky, culture and community - stretching back tens of thousands of generations, and continuing into the present. I pay my deepest respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and to all First Nations peoples who continue to care for this Country with strength and wisdom. I honour their resilience in the face of colonisation, dispossession and ongoing injustices, and I commit to learning, listening and acting with respect and responsibility in the spirit of truth-telling, healing and reconciliation.

Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
