WORK WITH ME

Here's how I can support you:

I work with individuals ready to shift their mindset, set meaningful goals, and create lasting change - whether that's in your life, your business, or both.

I work with young adults and teens navigating big questions about their future, building confidence, and figuring out who they are and what they want.

I work with entrepreneurs and business owners who want practical support to move forward, scale with heart, and build something meaningful.

And I work with groups, teams and workplaces through workshops that focus on connection, mindset, leadership, and goal setting.

You can work with me through:

  • A single 90-minute session (perfect if you have one specific thing to work through)

  • A coaching series over 3, 6 or 12 sessions (this is where real transformation happens)

  • Workshops and group experiences (for teams, workplaces or community groups)

Testimonials

“Jane has a warm presence that made me feel at ease as I worked through my goals. She was great at holding space and providing a safe environment to process my thoughts whilst guiding me through to clarity.”

-Liesel D’Souza, Business Consultant and Leadership Coach

“This opportunity was a chance to unashamedly share and talk about myself. It gave me space to reflect on the story I tell myself and how it has been shaped by my past or by the pressures I place on myself. The sessions provided routine and accountability without judgment. Giving myself this time allowed me to reflect, realign, and reshape my story—something I’ll carry with me moving forward.”

-Beth Dunne, Mum and Business Owner at Urban Tree Growers

“The coaching experience has provided me with improvements in mindset, confidence, and mood. Prior to coaching, I would frequently self-doubt and had the tendency to become stuck in negative thoughts. Through the coaching process, I've developed a resilient perspective. I can now approach issues with a growth mindset. In terms of confidence, I've noticed significant progress. I no longer doubt myself or allow fear to keep me from taking action. I've learnt to trust my intuition and appreciate my own skills, which has given me the confidence to pursue things I might have otherwise avoided.

-Brandilee Gray, Teacher-in-training and Mum

Who am I?

I'm a Mindset, Business and Life Coach who understands the juggle - family, work, expectations, and the quiet pressure to hold it all together.

I believe we thrive when we feel seen, supported and connected - not just to others, but to ourselves.

My work is about helping you create space for you again - so you can live, lead and care for others without losing yourself in the process.

Mindset matters.

I've learned firsthand how powerful our minds are. Juggling many roles - in work and in life - has shown me that lasting change comes when we understand how our thoughts shape our reality.

By working with your mindset, you can make meaningful shifts that affect everything - from how you show up every day, to the way you feel about yourself and your future. Mindset mentoring helps you shift the way you think and feel, so you can take clearer action, break old habits, and reconnect with what matters.

Multi-tasking expert.

I’ve spent most of my life working with women, teenagers and families. My background in teaching, combined with my experience managing multiple companies and running my own very successful e-commerce business, has shaped me into the ultimate multi-hyphenated human. I get the challenges of balancing work, study, family, and passion, and I’m committed to helping you find that balance.

Connection.

A life filled with meaningful connection just feels good! I want this for you, too.

I love supporting individuals to open up their world. I see each person as unique and powerful, and I find immense joy in building others up and seeing them shine.

The power of intuition.

Your intuition is a compass you can trust.

When you learn to hear it clearly, decision-making becomes easier, boundaries feel natural, and you stop second-guessing yourself.

My work helps you strengthen that connection - so you can lead your life with more calm, courage and clarity.

Let’s thrive together.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Whether you're navigating change, building something new or just trying to feel more like yourself again - I’m here to help.

Together, we’ll find a path forward that feels honest, empowering and true to you.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE:

Friendie is an internationally recognised tech company, founded by my husband and myself. It began as a complete start up, and is now competing with the big tech companies within Australia, NZ and the world.

Our business Friendie has been seen in, seen on, connected with and exists on:

  • The Iconic, Melbourne Fashion Week, Amazon, Myer, The Today Show (Channel 9), Body and Soul (Herald Sun magazine), Mindful Puzzles magazine, Adore Home magazine, Women’s Health magazine, Women’s Health and Fitness magazine, Gippslandia (newspaper)

  • As worn by Maria Thattil, Miss Universe Australia contestants, Madi Krstevski, Hawra Khalil, Daria Varlamova, Narah Baptista, Morgan Waterhouse, Tash Marciano, Em Rusciano, Brooke Falvey, Olivia White, Julie Parker and more.

Other businesses: Together with my husband Phil, we have founded multiple companies from start up to fully fledged, competitive, successful businesses. Our strengths lie in ‘doing it all’- there’s no part of our businesses that we haven’t created, learnt, figured out, been challenged by or done. From customer service, to creating websites, to social media, to seeing our headphones on the Melbourne Fashion Week runway, to employing contractors, to interstate photo shoots, to graphic design, to importing product, to understanding legal requirements, to interviews, to collaborating, to working with larger stores. We have mentored other brands and creators. Past companies have been product based or service based, such as our past company called ‘Kindness Pack’, creating biodegradable postage packaging donating 50% of all profits to charity. Giving is really important to us and we have worked with many not-for-profits and charitable organisations, such as Beyond Blue, Olivia’s Place and Breast Cancer Network Australia.

And- we’ve done it all from our hometown of Warragul, Gippsland, Victoria. We love where we live and representing small regional communities!

About me

FAQs

  • I live in Warragul, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. It's a gorgeous town about an hour from Melbourne. I have a beautiful office in Warragul where we can meet and have in-person sessions. Or, I can meet you wherever YOU are in the world- that's the beauty of Zoom!

  • A Life Coach is some one who meets you where you are at, and supports and empowers you to transform and elevate your future. I help you to set goals and make changes in your life. It's like having your own cheerleader who is fully invested in supporting you to realise and activate your dreams. It's having someone who helps you get un-stuck.

It's so important to find the right life coach for YOU. Different coaches work with different clients and have different styles. For example, one of my areas of expertise is supporting women who are juggling work/life/balance. A good life coach knows their particular areas of interest and expertise, but we aren't confined to those areas either. Many of my clients are women in this niche, but I also attract teenagers (usually the kids of clients!) who are looking for guidance and support in a nurturing, confidence building environment. I can also work with men. I welcome people of all ages, races, gender identities, backgrounds, belief systems. If we are a match, we are a match.

Honestly- it's a great idea to book in for a FREE discovery call to see if you are the right match for your potential coach. If you want to chat further about this, please reach out!

  • I am open to working with anyone who feels aligned with my values and feels connected with me. I am experienced working with kids, teenagers and adults. Previous clients have been business owners, older teenagers, teachers, Uni students, women in mid-life doing the juggle, etc.

I find many of my clients are drawn to me because they are like me; I work with a lot of female entrepreneurs, who are also mums juggling work/life, who are ready for a cheerleader in their corner. I am an entrepreneur, I am a multi-business owner, I am a Mum, I have experienced burn out, I am always working towards achieving the most beautiful, most balanced life I can.

It’s also true that opposites attract, and I also have clients who decide to work with me because I am different to them.

I used to be a teacher so I have a real passion for working with and supporting young people to set and work towards their goals. I connect beautifully with young adults and coach ages 16+. This is a pivotal time in a young person’s life; what to study, what the future looks like, who am I, how do I fit in the world, what doesn't the future hold? The big questions! I love working with young adults to build their confidence, their intuition and their courage.

I love to work with teenagers, young athletes and sports clubs, providing workshops on goal setting, mindset and coaching.

In short- there’s no ‘ideal’ client for me that fits into a box. My ideal clients are unique humans, who are all seeking coaching to elevate their mindset, confidence and reshape their future. If you want some further info on this, or whether you would be suitable, send me an email! I would love to chat. Email me: hello@janesahhar.com.au

  • I love this question. It's really important to make sure whoever you are working with knows their stuff.

I studied to be a Life Coach with the renowned Beautiful You Coaching Academy (BYCA), a certified, ICF Accredited, internationally recognised course.

I also hold a Bachelor of Arts from University of Melbourne, with a double major in Creative Writing and Indigenous Studies.

I completed my Diploma in Education and I am a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

I work two days a week as an Educational Therapist at The Village Health, working with kids and teenagers.

I work in my own businesses on my other days, including my Life Coaching business and Friendie, a tech company my husband and I founded in 2016.

I have completed many many other short courses and studies, listed in my About Me page, and I am always reading, learning and connecting so I can be the most aligned coach and human I can be.

  • The answer is TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

    The quick answer is:

-A counsellor helps you LOOK BACK.

-A Life Coach is about the PRESENT to the FUTURE.

If you have things to unpack from your past, and/or your mental health feels unstable, a counsellor (or mental health practitioner) will be the right choice for you.

If you are ready and excited to make positive changes to your life, by noticing where you are at NOW and setting GOALS for where you want to be- a coach could be the right choice for you.

Now, as a 40 year old human, l have lived a life, and I understand the roller coaster we are all on! As a coach, I am trauma informed and I can hold space for things that come up as a result of our work. But unpacking the past is not what we do together.

I am so happy to discuss this further with you if you would like to reach out. If you aren't sure but would like to make sure, book a FREE discovery call. Within that process, you will complete a questionnaire first and together we will figure out pretty quickly where you are best suited!

    I've got your back.

  • It's kind of important to know, and also so annoying when you come to websites like this and you have to jump through hoops to find out how much things cost. I'm super transparent with my pricing for my standard offerings. You can click the link 'WORK WITH ME' and find out all the costs involved. As I am a newer coach, my prices are lower to begin with and they will rise in time. I want to be totally transparent on this, so you know that if you are thinking about it, don’t wait too long to get in touch as prices will change.

I have different packages available, such as a single session, a 3 month series and a 6 month series. The most popular option is the 3 month series- it’s the perfect amount of time to set goals, create actions and achieve sustainable, joyful, empowering change. You get a discount if you pay upfront!

I can also curate the right offering for you if you want something custom- just reach out and contact me at jane@janesahhar.com.au.

AND I would love to chat if you are looking for a guest speaker, a PD, small group training or a podcast guest! These are some of my FAVOURITE things to do!

  • Super easy- you just head to my “BOOK IN” page. Fill out the questionnaire, send it back to me, and I will be in touch within 24 hours to set up a Discovery Call so we can get the ball rolling. Or, if you want to have a chat or ask a question, scroll further down the page- you can send me a message using the contact form, and I will reply as soon as possible.

    Basically, the process is:

    1) Fill out your questionnaire so I can get to know you a bit and prepare for our call.

    2) We will lock in a time for a free 30 minute call, to chat about your hopes and goals and challenges, and so you can see if you are the right fit for me and the right fit for coaching.

    3) If you decide coaching with me is for you, we will book in all our sessions ahead of time, and get started! (And this is the time when payment begins - and you begin your journey!)

  • You can work with me from ANYWHERE in the world. Video meetings are SO EASY to set up and manage- I can coach you from the comfort of your own home, from the comfort of my office. Building connection via video is incredible.

Alternatively, if you would like face-to-face or a combination of video calls and face-to-face, I am located in Warragul, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. I have a beautiful office in which to see clients, and I will ALWAYS make you a cuppa prior to our sessions.

  • ABSOLUTELY! if you would like to attend sessions face-to-face (or a combo of in-person and video meetings), I am located in Warragul, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. I have a beautiful office in which to see clients, and I will ALWAYS make you a delicious cuppa prior to our sessions. I have a lending library, huge boardroom table, comfy couches, a lot of coloured textas and stationary options (I used to be a teacher! Some habits stick around)!

Alternatively, you can work with me from ANYWHERE in the world. Video meetings are SO EASY to set up and manage- I can coach you from the comfort of your own home, from the comfort of my office. Building connection via video is incredible.

  • I sure do! I love working with groups. I can offer curated sessions, for your workplace, business or friendship circle.

I have more group work options available soon- I am mid-creation so hang tight, or contact me at hello@janesahhar.com.au to find out what they are ahead of time!

  • I do.

“I feel with my body. Feeling all these trees, all this country. When this blow you can feel it. Same for country… you feel it, you can look, but feeling… that make you.”
— Bill Neidjie

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

I believe that every person holds a unique light and limitless potential. As a life coach, I am committed to create an inclusive space where every person feels seen, heard and valued. I recognise diversity in all its forms, recognising the beauty that exists in different backgrounds, identities and experiences.

Equity is at the heart of my coaching practice. I believe everyone deserves access to the tools, mindset and opportunities needed to live an authentic and fulfilling life. I strive to empower entrepreneurial women from all walks of life, providing personalised support that honours each individual’s story, challenges and dreams.

As a white, cisgendered woman, I acknowledge my privilege and the systematic advantages that have shaped my experience.

Studying Indigenous history and culture has profoundly changed my understanding of the world, and I am deeply committed to ongoing learning, reflection and action. Simultaneously, I recognise my distinct privilege and the irony of being a white woman who grew up in a bubble in country Victoria, having attending a private school and studying Aboriginal history at University. It’s complex and problematic and something I have reflected on deeply. I have never taken this chosen experience for granted, and have used it as a springboard to investigate, listen and learn. When I was a teacher, I chose the texts I wanted my students to be exposed to. I selected “Story About Feeling” by Bill Neidjie, a book written in Aboriginal-English, bridging two worlds. A book filled with culture, stories, dreaming, despair, triumphs. A book that challenged perspectives and encouraged my class to open their minds.

My kids know of my fierce beliefs in equality and inclusion. I speak daily with my daughter and my son about what being a woman means to me, and my passion for feminism and changing the gendered landscape. This journey is not over. I support the LGBTIQA+ community and recognise the battles and scars the community bares and faces each day just being true to themselves. I notice the lack of disabled parking spaces in my town, the playgrounds that aren’t planned with diligence and as a result, exclude disabled families, the challenges those living with both visible and invisible disabilities face. I see the casual, everyday racism that exists and I listen to those who tell their stories. I recognise that my colouring and upbringing and lifestyle renders me very, very privileged. I can never truly know how it feels to be a part of other communities or cultures, and feel judged or have a past where I was told I was ‘less-than’, but I can support humans and stand behind what I believe to be right; human beings living their authentic truth.

These things I feel and do and notice are small, but I know that small actions collect as bigger movements. I recognise that my actions may sometimes be cloaked in my inherent biases of my upbringing, until I unpack and recognise and reflect and check them. This method of and being open to change helps to buoy me as I continue my learnings, support, advocacy and action. I’m never ‘done’ and I can always do and learn more. That fire in my belly is always lit. I recognise my privilege, and commit to growing, learning, engaging and checking my privilege. Through empathy, connection and a deep commitment to wellness, I guide clients in embracing their full selves- mind, body and spirit- while fostering a world that celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion. If you believe you and I would be a great match but you have financial barriers in your way, I have some scholarships available- send me an email and I can connect you with the details.

My truth might make you feel drawn to me and you want to work with me. Conversely, my words might challenge you or deter you and that’s your right.

I welcome the conversation.
